Wooden wall?

Hi all,

I'm looking to put my tv on the wall in my bedroom but the wall I want to put it on seems to have a wood interior, if that makes sense? When drilling rather than brick it seems to be wood. I've not seen this before. Is it safe to hang a tv from these walls? Do I need certain screws?

Do you mean wood walls like some sort of log cabin, or plasterboard and timber frame like a modern house?

If the latter, look for plasterboard/hollow wall fixings, or you might need to find the vertical timbers and fix a board across them or cut the plasterboard and fit additional timbers.
