I've applied my base coat of Sadolin Classic woodstain to my softwood side gate. After about 20 mins, I went bac and evened it out with a brush, including the edges.
After leaving it overnight, I flipped it over and there are runs or drips on the other side. I tried applying more stain in the holes the solvents would help but it's made no difference.
How can I improve the look?
I was planning on a light sand before applying the Sadolin Extra.
