Hi please help i had a prob last week where i had no hot water boiler was no starting up on demand also water coming straight out o/flow called boiler man who said prob was diaphram also pressure relief valve,as he had no parts he gave me temp hot water by sticking pad under micro switch.He has since returned replaced parts all works well apart from now i have to have my temp right on max in shower to get warm water also the bath is the same please what could be the problem.

I suspect he ajusted the water throttle and the boiler is now passing more water through it....no fault as such, you will need to turn the taps back a bit to get hotter water.
 
also would like some advice on worcester 24cdi as like i said the engineer has not replaced parts as he said he had done was at house for 3 hours to supposingly fit prv and new diaphram which he has charged for rang them this morning onece i pulled them up on it they are now charging 1/2 hrs labour so anyone who knows this boiler well i would like to call and have chat if poss.

To change PRV should take no more than 30mins in my opinion.

Changing either complete DV or just diaphram, now that does take longer to complete ( assuming you don't get any leaks ) :wink:
 
Changing the DV can be a pain (as I have already said that it was a cdi that did for the tendon in me thumb oouch)

the water flow throttle is on the DV but would advise you get matey back to adjust it
 
And as a add on to Corgiman get him to check the gas pressures, which he should do anyway if he does his job seriously.
