help,mother returning from aussie(v.hot)turned room stat up to try heating,no pilot,no main burner,nothing on hot water,pump running.any help would be welcome.boiler is worcester 240 fanned flue.cheers

I have this model myself.

Are you sure you still have gas?

I had this fault once and it turned out to be the gas valve.

do you have hot water

and DO NOT MUCK around with the gas valve unless you are competant to do so

Do you have sufficient pressure in the system?
The right hand dial should be reading about 1.1. If its too low the boiler wont turn on.
Also lift off the front cover and try pressing the red reset button.

Make sure pressure gauge is at 1 to 1.5
Stand in front of boiler and turn of at mains. Turn boiler stat to max and clock off. Turn mains back on
Wait 30 seconds
Turn clock on
Listen if you hear: pump, fan, spark

no spark from ignition,demand light on,pump working,tried reset button,still same problem

Last one I went to with that fault was a faulty PCB.

But it did for a while work on DHW but no Ch unless the flow sensor was disconnected for a few seconds and would then give one shot of CH. Shortly after failed on all firing modes.

thanks for that,heating engineers must love combies,seem far to complicated to me,just looking at service/repair sheet .dam think needs pulling out and a wood burner putting in.lol
