Worcester 24CDI BOILER PROBLEM

Hi,

Our boiler is not working, neither the hot water or the central heating. The boiler is a worcester 24cdi.

The pressure is 1.5 bar which is fine....

When i turn the hot water on, the hot water tap LIGHT comes on but then starts flickering.... the light on the boiler next to the gas flame DOES NOT light up.

When i turn the central heating on, the flame on the CH control panel shows up, but the boiler doesnt seem to be heating the water, even though the light shows up on the boiler, next to the radiator symbol.

Please can someone give me an idea on what they think it may be, and if this is a DIY job? We get married in 2 weeks and money is v.tight at the moment!

What's more important? Money? Or the safety of you and your fiancée?
