worcester 24cdi boiler timer

I have a digital timer. Can anybody tell me what is switched. There must be a positive and negitive cable to run the clock but is it pos or neg to the third wire to operate the boiler?

Most timers would need Live-Neutral-Earth feed. Out from the timer there should be two switched Lives, one for your central heating power and one for domestic hot water.
