Hi,

Can anyone help with the following.

The central heating control knob spindle has broken. Is this a common problem on this boiler and is it available (no part number in manual).

The pot that sits behind the central heating control knob, on the pcb(circuit ref RV1 value 47K942K), may as a consequence also be damaged. I have not had a chance to check the resistance.

If anyone has come across this situation I would be grateful if they could provide part numbers for the two items. Any guidance or helpful tips would also be appreciated.

Update,

For anyone interested the control knob is available (part No. 87161410440). Worcester do not supply pot. If pot faulty they say need complete new pcb (part no. 87161463000).

If pot faulty I will try electrical suppliers (Only problem will be the central hole needs to accept the control knob spindle) before I think about changing the pcb.

Kind Regards

Harry
