Worcester 24i RSF cutting out

Just as the title says, my boiler keeps cutting out.

If I turn the electricity off and then back on again the boiler goes through all the motions and fires up. It stays on for about 3 minutes then cuts out. This is the case for both heating and hot water.

It doesn't 'trip' the overheat stat, it's more like it's cutting the gas off to the burner.

Any ideas please the house is bloody freezing??

Difficult one as this boiler doesn't give you any indication of what it could be, i.e. flashing lights/codes etc.... There's not alot you can do without getting involed in some phsical checks on the boiler.

When the boiler cuts out does the fan stay on? Does the pump stay on?

Yes mate, both the fan and the pump stay running.

With the fan running but no ignition i'd be checking the APS/tube and venturi. I'm not sure if the APS is within the combustion chamber on this boiler, if it is you'll need to get an RGI in to check it i'm affraid.
