Hi everyone

I have a Worcester 24i RSF boiler, the hot water and heating went off yesterday (no pilot light), the overheating reset button on the top had popped out so I pressed it back in and the hot water is now fine. However when I switch on the heating it fires up for a few seconds and then the light goes out. Before I call anyone out I would just like to find out if its a simple problem I could manage to fix myself.

many thanks

James

If the pressure is between !-!.5 bar & no air locks chances are that its the pump seized on knackered.

the red one is just an indicator you can turn to show what the pressure should be when cold. the grey one is the pressure gauge so it's at zero pressure. Either it needs topping up or the prv/vessel has a fault
