Worcester 28CDi Increasing Pressure

Well, touch wood, so far so good!
Not a drip. Took 10 mins to put back together, and I have been fiddling with this all afternoon!
Heating would not fire to start with - came on, but gas went off very quickly, but pump carried on - I could hear the water rushing around in the boiler, so guess it was just air. gave it a few mins and tried again, and seems OK.

many thanks for help - I should have asked in here hours ago!

next day and all is good.
pressure is rock steady, so I guess replacing the HE did the job.
Many thanks for you help, nickso, save me a cold night and a frosty one from SWMBO.
