WORCESTER 28I RSF

Hi Forum

I have a worcester 28i rsf and the central heating will not come on . If you run the hot tap for a while then turn heating on it will stay on but you cant turn in on from the programmer dial . The programmer clock has just been replaced so i dont think it could be that . Has anybody come across this fault before and could tell me what could be wrong .
