Hi,

an engineer tells me that these do not have a diverter valve?

Is it possible?

He reckons that i can hear water through the radiator cause the pump is kicking in to cool off the heat exchanger once i turn the hot water off.

I thought all boilers had div valves...

the 28si does not have a diverter valve as it has a twin coiled heat exchanger.

Depending on which model it is it will have either a Hot water flow switch or a DHW flow turbine that controls the call hot water.

28Si 1 = hot water flow switch

28Si 2 = DHW turbine

pump overun on low water content boilers, thats why the pump runs when nothing is calling
