Hi, I’m having issues with my Worcester boiler.

It’s a Greenstar Heatslave II combi boiler running off oil. It’s all new and installed but the problem keeps occurring.

Basically when the power to the boiler fires up, everything is good. The room thermostat light has to be on for the boiler to be running. Once the boiler eschew a certain temperature, the light in the thermostat goes off and boiler turns off completely, therefore having to turn the mains power on and off again. We get about 2 minutes of got water then it cuts out again. Before the thermostat was connected the boiler was just on the mains power and run fine but obviously there was no controls over central heating.

Get your installer back, or if he did not fit the thermostat, get those installers back.

Thanks mate. Had a look myself and it looks asif the thermostat has been connected with the mains and not in the correct terminal
