I had a problem with div. valve a year back, heating was ok but hot water was taking time to warm up. I knew it was the diverter valve as the tops of the radaters were warming up as well when hot water was on.
This went on for 6 months before i reported the problem to my crappy heating cover company who replaced it in march 08 with an original part.
Been ok since.
