Hi

I have a Worcester Bosch 24i running 6 radiators, which admittedly is 10 years old . The hot water running to the ground floor kitchen sink and cloakroom basin, is hot and plentiful. Hot water to first floor bathroom basin is OK., hot water to the bath is non existent. The tap has to be set to no more than a trickle to get the water lukewarm. The radiators are too hot to touch most of the time.

The boiler is on the BG homecare policy. Over the last month I have called them out several times because boiler switches off and stays off until reset button is pressed. I have also mentioned the lack of hot water.

New sensor fitted........water just the same....lukewarm
Gas flow pressure checked and set.

Yesterday when the new sensor was fitted I was told by the engineer that this model of boiler has never been very good at heating bath water and will never be much better. I cannot believe this to be true. He also states that everything else has been checked out and all is OK.

Anyone any theories?? other than install a new system.

Thanks for your help.

:( &
