Hello,

I've sacked the idea of repairing my current 15 year old boiler and have been quoted

£1300 for a worcester bosch supply and fit which includes, wireless timer, magnetic filter and a hot flush of the system.

£1000 For a Glow-worm betercom 30

Not sure which to go for ?

anyone advise please ? both engineers have been checked out both have decent ratings and reviews for their work.

thanks.

Neither. Intergas ECO RF 30

Incidentally the price for the Woofter is waaaayyy too cheap and suggests you'll be getting a very shoddy job. Materials alone will cost about £1200 on that one. GlowWorm price is slightly less concerning, but only slightly!

Job done, brilliant work and the boiler is brilliant great heat and water.

How can you be so sure that it is so brilliant.

Expect to get the blue Certificate soon.

Hope he has filled in the Benchmark Certificate.

What cleanser and inhibitor did he use? Fernox or Sentinel?

Tony
