Have a Greenstar 24i Junior combi (one without a water temp dial, and a supposed fixed 55 degree output) in a flat - recently had a blocked cold supply to the property, which, after resolving, has led to much-improved flow.
Before, the flow was poor (from the sound of it, low enough to sometimes not trigger the boiler for hot water), but hot water was very hot - now, it’s sometimes not much more than lukewarm from the taps (shower running off it seems OK). Not turning the taps on fully doesn’t seem to make any difference, so I assume it’s not a case of the boiler not being able to cope with the greater flow.
The boiler was serviced (in some manner) about two months ago when the gas inspection was done, and nothing was flagged. I assume this is highlighting a potential pre-existing issue - any suggestions as to the cause?
