Hope I have got the letters right above.

I called at parts Centre to ask about the o/h stat ( which is fitted in series with the thermocouple )

It did not seem to be listed on their parts system or shown on the exploded diagrams ( although the pocket was pictured ).

I also asked about the fan. It was listed but was not shown as a stock item!

Can anyone throw any light on the availability of these two parts?

Tony

Fan is definitely obsolete Tony although I did have a customer a couple of weeks ago who had sourced one herself on the net after I told her it was only recently finished, unfortunately I didn't ask her where from. Might be worth trying worcester part no. 8-716-121-390-0

There must be thousands of these boilers still in use! I done understand the logic on stopping the supply of these fans. Its just fueling the reconditioners!

The motor and impeller look the same as the profile/netaheat so thats probably a way to get a replacement !!!

It looks very similar to one ( with the same fault ) that I saw in a Servowarm wall mounted boiler which was no longer available!

I needed a board for a ferolli last week parts centre didn't show it on their system, got part no. from ferroli, parts centre had one on the shelf.

Turned out to be wrong bloody pat after all that, can't believe I got that wrong. Now I own a ferolli early one ignition board if anyone needs one any time soon. Too embarrassed to say what was actually wrong, just managed to get enough pay to cover the board. How many times have you donated your time in exchange for a part!

When I make my fortune and don't have to work they can all go on ebay.

If you buy a part which is not used they it becomes a "purchase for stock" !

Now can anyone help with the stat?

Tony

call heat spares in st helens and ask for john.01744 751555. he knows his stuff.if you can get them he will know.

im fairley sure Worster told me before that the stat is obsolite now for these boilers.

Worster do 2 the same exept the 9.24 one has much longer wires, Im sure the only way is to buy the short one for the other worsters and splice the longer wires to fit it in, which works fine but obviously is arguably mucking about with a saftey device which is a no no.
