I have had problems with my Greenstar 30cdi for a couple of days,it will not fire up.I switched it on and off yesterday and it worked but today I have the same problem: it came on ok but later it did not fire up.I turned it on and off and came on, it will not fire up now.Could you please, help me?
I am a telephone engineer,if you think I can help,just ask me.
Thank you very much.

Does it come up with a fault code?

What's on the display when it's at fault?

It may be an external contol issue and not the boiler itself.

Hello there,
I am pleased to say that my boiler is now working better than ever. The display only showed the water temperature. I did reset it.I think a particular code should come up after so many hours working.I have had this boiler for 2 years this coming August and never seen any code but the water temperature. It could have been what you suggest: an external fault, not the boiler,I would be surprised though because it is all new: cylinder stat, room stat, programmer....
In any case, thank you very much for trying to help me.
kind regards Jose

Hi, are you the same jomalube that was searching for the Wiseners and Couchmans on a geneology site. If so please reply as I have information on them for you.
Best Regards.

Hello LMiller
Actually it was my wife, (we share an 'alias'!) , what a small world! she's very excited to see that family history and DIY can live side-by-side! Any information on her maternal family history would be very gratefully received (you can imagine the 'Brownie' points I'd earn from mother-in-law and wife alike!)
My wife has built up a great resource of family history and continues to collect info from the UHF and other Irish family history sites. her research has disclosed family in NZ and Australia, as well as Antrim, Cork and of course Belfast. My wife is sitting here right now and would be so glad to receive any information you can offer.
Many thanks for your help.
