Thought everything was ok, but have had no heating since, and now the boiler has the same error code EA. The pipe that was previously frozen, i have cut short to stop freezing, but when i reset the boiler, i dont get any water release down it.

can anyone help?

Hi,

I had the same problem - woke up yesterday - no hot water, reset and blue light flashing and error code EA

After a cold night had a look on the net today and fixed it - condensation pipe was frozen - flexible plastic pipe coming out the bottom

WB website very helpful

If this doesn't work for you then maybe work your way through this

Let us know how it goes

sounds like your condensate pipe is still frozen to me try pouring a kettle full of hot water over it lump of ice will prob come out followed by water and gurgling from the flue this tells you it is clear

hit the re set button and away you go

EA is just no flame detected

yes, there was ice in the pipe, it was it the bit that went through the wall, managed to get the ice out, and cut the pipe off to give it less chance of happening. But still had no heating for some reason, in the end we ttok the front off and cleaned the condensate trap, and my dad blasted some hot air over the boiler, that seemed to work.
