Hi,

We have moved into an old cottage that has an oil tank and a Worcester Heatslave 15/19 running the heating and hot water system. What we've found is that the hot water in the bathroom upstairs has no consistency; it's particularly bad in the mornings (yet the water in the kitchen taps will be hot), so I was just wondering whether anyone had any ideas on what the problem might be?
Thanks in advance

How soon after programming the hot water are you trying to use it? If quite soon, you need to let the heat store get up to temperature.
Is your problem with the taps in the bathroom, or with the shower? If with the shower, the problem may not be the boiler, but the shower if it is thermostatic. If there is no problem with the kitchen taps, it is difficult to see why the bathroom should not be the same, as they will be fed from the same outlet. If your water pressure is particularly low, then I suppose it is possible that there is insufficient flow to operate the flow switch from the bathroom.
