We had a power cut of about 4 hours last weekend. Our boiler isn't working although there is power to it, the lockout isn't on and there is plenty of oil. We don't have an immersion but I'm worried at calling out an engineer when there may be a really simple thing I should do. The clock looks OK. Could it be the reset button or the pilot light and if so - where are they? Please help!

On the programmer, are the two small red lights on - i.e the boiler is ready to obey demand for hot water / heating?
Press the 'Select' buttons if they aren't.
There's also an overheat reset button below the left hand side of the control panel that faces upwards (door off). Give that a try too!
