worcestershire bosch junior 28i - CH but no HW

Hello,

We have a worcestershire bosch junior 28i boiler, it is around 15 years old, serviced every year. Never had an issue with it. However this morning the hot water will not work. The CH does still work though.

With the CH off (and therefore the green 'flame' light off), we then go to turn on a hot water tap, the green 'flame' light turns on and the boiler makes a grumble like its trying. then the green flame light goes off after about 2 seconds. then it does this same thing again. then a 3rd, 4th & 5th time then the reset button come on and the blue light blinks every second or so. i press the reset button, after this the CH still works but hot water same issue.

pressure needle was in the green.

clearly the boiler not in warranty any more but could anyone give me an idea about what the problem is ? is there anything i can do myself ?

Apart from the pressure (which you say is ok) the there's not much more you can do. Could be a multitude of issues
