Worcherster 28i junior boiler overpressurised help

I have a 28i junior gas boiler that is running now in the pressure of 3, the condensation pipe leading from it to the outside of the house is dripping water.
I have no idea how to drop the pressure at all and i'm worried about it, i really can't afford to get someone out to look at it so any help would be appreciated loads.

I know i need to drain water of from it using the pressure release valve but no idea where that is. My boiler is in the attic.

Is it ok to but on the way it is. I think the problem stemmed from a leaking radiator in the kitchen which i'm going to have to try to sort out as well. i just need some help please.

Hi sorry do i turn it off on the actual boiler or the temp setting in the hall?

Turn off at the boiler or main switch, wait couple hours.

I'll have to wait till i get home from work tomorrow unfortunately, i have to get the kids to school in the morn so is it ok to leave it on to keep the house warm tonight do you think?

no the needle is still up at 3 and not going down even though it's been off for quite a while and the pipe is still leaking water.
Please help, i also can't find the filling key.

A standing pressure of 3 bar is way too high.

It should be around 1 to 1.2 bar.

Go around and bleed the air, if any, out of all your radiators. Then check the pressure.

Keep bleeding water out of one radiator until the pressure is down to 1 to 1.2 bar.

If the pressure doesn't drop, or keeps rising back up to 3, your filling loop is passing water and repressuring your system. You need to find it, make sure it's off and disconnect it.

The filling loop will be in the boiler, or in the airing cupboard.

will do thank you. I bled the radiators yesterday and no air, i will bleed untill one as you say with water coming out.
I saw the filling loop and the knob on it is def closed. will come back after bleeding the radiator for your help on the filling loop if you don't mind.

emptied the bathroom radiator untill the pressure went to 1 1/2 and now it's going back up again.

I see the filling loop its under the boiler itself, there is a black twist knob on one (the left), the other to the right has like a twisty valve to twist.

I know from videos that the black twist knob lets water into the boiler, but which one do i disconnect as the loop is connected at both ends?

Its either the fill loop passing or the heat exchanger passing. Disconnect fill loop first if its still doing it then must be heat exchanger.

One tap isolates the water from the mains pipe, the other isolates the water in the boiler.

Both should be turned off, then the loop can be disconnected, be prepared for a little water in the filling loop itself.

If water is still coming out ethier of the disconnected ends, you have a problem and need a plumber ASAP.
