Work Injury

As another DIY'r I also use wooden blocks, but I get someone else to help with a rad, like the wife :D

Thats wise, unfortunately I work on my own so there isn't always someone to give me a lift with the extreme things but after this I am going to admit defeat and wait until another pair of hands are available, my main problem will be deciding where to draw the line in the future because when you've been used to working with quite heavy weight in the past and you're confident about lifting a certain weight then you get used to that but I will have to decide when to not risk it, as in lifting a boiler onto the wall for instance, I know I can physically lift it but I will be wary of putting to much pressure on the repaired bicep.
In the meantime I'm looking forward to having the cast off for a few minutes on the 11th when they take the stitches out....scratchy time :)

Bottle jack. Or one of those lever things with a handle at one end and wheel on the other.
