Hi

I am a fully qualified electrician in the Uk. I am looking to go and work out in America. Could anyone recommend the best way of finding a company who will be able to offer me a working Visa and a job.

Is there an electrical body I could contact for help ?

All suggestions would be greatfully apriciated :D :?

interesting idea, im not sure what the yanks use as qualifications. I've seen engineers jobs advertised and a ONC or HNC is considered highly state side. They tend to use parially skilled people doing individual jobs and still love conduit! I think they are beginning to change there idears when i was in new york a couple of years ago i saw SWA and cable ladder being used so there might be openings out there for differently skilled people.
