Went to fit the the NVR switch to the bench today, but am having a problem with the earthing set up, look like it has only 2 pairs of terminals for L/N in the switch?

Might have to get a man in to just fit the RCD FCU as suggested and kill 2 birds with one stone.

Of course - the earth should never be switched.

Obviously, but I would have expected there to have been the ability to pass the earth through unswitched, to avoid having to kludge something together to maintain earth continuity from the plug to the appliance.

A connector isn't really a kludge. They could have provided an earth terminal but that would be a screwed joint just like a bit of choc-block.

You can carefully remove the sheath without damaging the insulation and leave the CPC(earth) uncut.

How do you then sleeve it?

Don't use twin and earth.
