I am installing a zenith compact laminate worktop next week. As all I'm using is biscuit joints in the corners where worktops meet there won't be any need for a worktop jig as I won't be making any male or female cuts.

To save me spending a lot on a worktop jig, is there anything else I could use for a straight edge for the router, or is this asking for trouble?

If the worktop has post formed face edge then you either need a jig to trim the joint faces or a joining strip.

It's zenith compact laminate.
It says to just ue biscuit joints? It's square edges.
