Worrying Question

Hi all
My Brother-in-Law has hot glued 2.5 cable to channel he cut out, as he was unable to penetrate the brickwork with any clips that he tried,admittedly this was a while ago and its been ok,but it worrys me with my sister living there.
He's only just told me that he done that.
Your thoughts please

I don't see any real issue providing the chase is within a prescribed safe zone.

possibly no worse than plaster on the cable, twin and earth has double sheath so if any damage it would only be the outer sheath if any

Unless it was realy hot glue I would quess its ok and would proberly have cooled before causing any damage

Pvc conduit is glued and sometimes the glue gets on the cable but dont appear to harm it
