So what. At least I got it off my chest and worn d others that there is still crap out there.
 
Erbauer ER1603COM 18V 2.0Ah Li-Ion Cordless Combi Drill only 20 pounds extra , but battery charging time is 1 hour instead of 4 and drill is 2 times lighter.

Currently sold at screwfix
 
This is a thread from 2007. Bet he's already bought one by now.

I've got a Worx router and it had been fine over many years.

I only got it because it came with collars that fit worktop jigs, and I was not going to pay twice as much for a branded tool for this one purpose.
