Would rough porcelain tiles give a clean finish?

We are looking at replacing and tiling our bathroom and have found some rough porcelain tiles that we really like.

However the tile has a jagged design and was worried that when the sink, toilet, shower and bathroom accesories are put into place then wont be against a smooth surface and wont give a clean finish.

Should i choose a rough tile or go for one with a smoother finish?
