That T cut thing is amazing!
A tradesman who was regularly using it would soon make back the money I reckon. Cheap it ain't though!

AAh the finished T is larger than the actual blade profile geometry as the blade de-centralises for a brief second or two at the end of the cut.
Very clever indeed.

I have no reason to doubt its a great tool, but its quite some price!

I reckon it's that price because in reality they're out of stock and if someone is stupid enough to order one, they'll send an erk to B&Q in Italy to go collect one

No, that's a representative price, hell of a lot for a biscuit jointer if you ask me!

It's a specialist tool, not really aimed at most people. It's for people like furniture makers and shop fitters who are making edge joints like that day in, day out, I reckon it would soon pay for itself. It's certainly not cheap, but decent kit never was, especially if it offers something no-one else does.

Agreed. It offers something that you can't get from a doweller (Mafell DD040) or a Domino - a invisible KD joint with relatively high strength. I'd love to be able to justify the price.......

If you only want a little play and to use one for DIY a few time - Aldi have one under £25

Couldn't even justify £25 on one, never had the need... but then as I fall into the "all the gear... no idea" camp sometimes I'll probably end up getting one

Me too. I used to make furniture, but it was solid wood rather than board. I doubt if I could have justified the cost of one of these. Although I've had a Freud biscuit jointer for (must be) over 20 years, and that's done many a box of biscuits. I seem to remember that the Lamello on offer at the time was a very nice tool, but in the mid £300s
