Xmas rad riddle.

This defeated me so I'm prepared to look silly when someone gives the obviously simple answer!
Have to replace a rad that was (cos its not there) no doubt imperial. Pipe tails to centres 555mm apart. Has 3/4" thread lockshield one end and Danfoss trv 1/2" thread the other. 505mm between threads. For curiosity sake can anyone work out what size rad it may have been?
The pipes are curved out of a concrete floor with brand news tiles on it so it's gonna be butchery. A 500 rad with new valves and some pipework I'd rather not put my name to. And I'm suppose to start xmas shopping today.
A friend in need is definately a pain in the arse!

You've lost me there Kev? Just the rad tail on the 1/2" end puts it over the 505. With two new 1/2" it goes to 595.

Tried to sort that at Plumbcentre but couldn't make it work. Butchery it is then- and if I don't get into gear it'll be dark!

you can get extenders that are 20mm 40 mm 50 mm and adjustable if it helps

Deep joy! By using the wee Monument olive puller, raising the rad and some pulled 's' bends that would grace Brands Hatch- success. Don't know what the fuss was about! Did anyone solve the original size riddle?
