Yale 6400 - siren entry / exit confirmation beeps.

Is there any way of stopping the above? The system works fine, but the siren beeps when I arm and disarm the system are not required.
These beeps only appear to offend the neighbours and drain the battery!
I cannot find a mute option in the manual.
All advice appreciated.

Go to programing and Siren, turn off entry sounds.

Press the 'pr' button then enter your code then tick (enter) to enter the programme (You will probably know that bit already )

select the option 'devices'

Then select 'program siren'

then place the flashing cursor next to 'confirm off'

then press the tick (enter) button

The panel will beep then simply use the top backspace key to navigate back out of the menu system until the display reads 'alarm off'
