"Doomsday" contingency plans are under way for a no-deal Brexit, according to the Sunday Times. The paper says a scenario drawn up by the Brexit department predicts that there would be shortages of medicine, fuel and food "within a fortnight" if no trade deal is struck. David Davis and the Brexit department are said to be preparing for three no-deal scenarios - one of which has been dubbed "Armageddon".
One source tells the paper that the port of Dover would "collapse on day one".
