zanussi aquacycle 1000 washing machine

Hi Guys,
Please help if you can. Everytime I do the washing the machine will finish the first cycle and then stop. I found out that if I put water though the soap draw it continues so after every cycle it stops and waits for water.
Can anyone help out with this?
