Zanussi fls 1284 washing machine - Not spinning

It runs through cycles but the drum doesn't spin at all. I've cleaned the drain filter (which was disgusting) but the problem persists. What can I try next?

Given the age I'd exspect the motor brushe's to be worn out so check them.

Tilt appliance back and the brushe's are on the front of the motor .With respect I think you may be better calling on an engineer.

Yeah you're probably right. It's an odd machine though. The interior is only accessible through the top and I can't see the motor or belt that way.
