Zanussi nexus washing machine

Hi folks, I have something knocking and grinding between the inner drum anb the cast aluminium outer drum, i want to open the machine, remove the drum and dismantle the drum assembly, I can stumble around for a day or ask you chaps if you can give me any pointers. the whole thing seems joined at the sides and access via the back as was usual with older machines isn't available.
Any ideas?

the easiest way to get something out of a m/c is to remove the pump, tip m/c towards pump (you may have to shake m/c a bit) and remove object

if you still cant get it, you will have to take m/c apart (not rcomended)

when i used to work for a white goods company that was how we used to do it as it was the easiest way
