zanussi not taking softener !

hi all
anyone any ideas?

i have cleaned out the water channels from the solonoid pipes to the drawer. - all running clear.

i have been into diagnostics mode and can get the machine to do almost every function except spray water into the softener compartment!

any ideas much appreciated

sorry i forgot - its a fjdr1466w model about 7 years old

are all the water fill valve solenoids ok, sometimes they can fail

With most machines it is better to post the PNC as well as the model number as it gives a more accurate indication for your particular model.

On Electrolux (AEG, Zanussi, Tricity Bendix, etc) it is usually a nine digit number beginning with a 9 and maybe a 2 figure digit afterwards
