Zanussi ZWD 1260 that sticks

Long time reader first time poster! Great site.

I've got a zanussi washer dryer that we have got out of storage after 2 years. Unfortunately, although it was working perfectly it now sticks on different programmes. If I advance it manually, it works fine but it is obviously unworkable like this. It also seems to stick on the dryer cycle too, although the heating cycle timer does wind down.

Any ideas??

looks like I'll have to get rid of this machine, which is a shame and a waste but I can't seem to find any info anwhere. There are so many washing machine faults on this forum alone, we need a resident expert here working full time to answer them all!

but the pay is no good hrs are good
