My elderly mother needs the door opening from the right instead of the left.

I have since found this is not possible.

Only after she had told me that she read in the instruction manual that this is possible. I duly unscewed the door and the plastic door catch on the right hand side.

The door went back on fine, but the white plastic door catch must have had nuts to screw into on the other side of the fascia as it will now not screw back on.

Anyone know how to fix this ? Is there a way of getting to these fixings ?

Any help is greatly appreciated as the washing machine is fixed or I have to get a new one quickly.

Having Read That Back, I'm Not Sure If I Am Clear.

The problem is the latch which is plastic that sits on the fascia and screwed in position with 2 small bolts, rather than just a hole with a catch on the rear.

Now I have unscrewed the 2 bolts I fear something?? which is seated on the rear of the fascia and acts as not only as locking nuts but also a closed indicator..? has dropped into the machine or dangling ?

Please HELP, my mother and father are elderly and cant do without the machine for very long. I have buggered it up and feel responsible although I'm almost sure that if I could get to the fascia panel I could fix this problem. I really hope one of you understand what I'm talking about.

I have got to have a day off work to even get to the machine so hoping someone knows the configuration of these machines.

Living In Hope That Someone Can Help Please.
