Zeiss DriveSafe lenses

I'm overdue my eye test and I'm looking to get some of my glasses lenses swapped, I've noticed my optician now offers the above.

I'd imagine they'll be a little more costly compared to most standard lenses but are they worth it. Does anyone have first hand experience with them?

That's the sales pitch my optician offers. I think my last pair of designers were £400 after discount so it would be a considerable amount for these I'd imagine.

What advantage are they supposed to offer? obviously Zeiss are a very reputable brand... but?

From what I can gather, less glare in adverse lighting. It could be of a benefit, my safety glasses are polycarbonate and I find them to be much easier on the eye in some condition compared to my normal glass lenses.

However the polycarbonate are very expensive and I had to wait almost 3 weeks for them to be manufactured.

Zeiss sunglasses lenses are the best in the world !!!!!

There's nothing to compare with their umbral lenses ....just my opinion of course !

Clouds, grass ,trees all look better through their brown lenses the world looks greener much more verdant !!!
