Hi all

Currently dec'ing my utility room and there's some copper pipes feeding the boiler (they therefore get pretty hot).....

I would like to paint them white to match the white walls. I have some Zinsser BIN and wondered if I could use this as a primer for the pipes before painting them with white emulsion (Dulux Diamond Matt).

Any problems with this system? Will it be ok with the heat?

Many thanks

Max

May be ok, but I would use International Special Metals Primer. It's formulated for surfaces like brass alli and copper. Remember to wipe new copper clean with white spirit to remove any grease before painting.
