Zinsser Gardz - Is it worth it?

Hi,

In another tread i was pointed in the direction of this product to use on a newly skimmed wall before wallpapering to aid removal when it comes to redecorating, which knowing the wife won't be long.

I just wondered if there was anyone with any experience of using it on new plaster skim?

Is it okay to use on new plaster? How long do you wait before applying it?
Does it actually aid removal and redecorating?

Gardz is best for sealing plaster and Shieldz is the one for easier paperhanging and stripping.

They do make life a little easier on occasion, but sizing new plaster for paper and mist coating for paint do the job well enough.
