Me and a colleague were looking at the on site guide today discussing zones but are a bit confused, we know the zone at the top of the room 150mm also corners, but what about horizontal, basically can you for example extend a ring circuit by going horizontal to another socket? It certainly looks like it by the diagramme, ?

You can go horizontally, if the cable in is in line with the accessory.
Yeah so you can extend a ring cct straight across a wall to another socket?
Yes but are you really talking about extending the ring final circuit or running a spur from it?
