Hey Guys,

First post and been reading on here for a while.

Hope someone can give some specific advice?

Currently I have a combi boiler with 8 radiators. I have no room thermostat or TRV's for any of them. Over the past few years I have been controlling the temp in the house from the boiler directly, with a timer in the boiler set to turn off completely during the night (to save money?) and then turn on at about 6am to warm up the house.

I have been looking at room thermostat and zoning TRV's, but confused with whats out there.

Ideally I want to control the temperature in three areas. Living Room, my bedroom and the kids bedroom.

Now the ambient temp in all three rooms when the central heating is off varies. Living room remains cool in winter, my bedroom freezes with cold, and the kids bedroom stays relatively warm (enough not to turn heating on)

Whats the best way in controlling all three areas at the same temp?

I have been looking at the wireless TRV with receiver for each room?, but just can't get my head around on what would happen to the other 5 radiators dotted around the house whilst the TRV's did its job?

For these systems (zoning) do I need anything for the boiler?
