ZPG testing with gas off!!?

Just a quickie - has anyone ever tested a ZPG gas valve (which should read 0 mbar) - accidentally with the gas off!!!!! (Very sad but just wondered)!..... would it read a minus pressure on the gauge (dual scale gauge with mbar a w gauge)? (Air pressure and no gas to equalise it)!!

If ever a post proves how DANGEROUS a diy internet forum can be then this is it.

Look pal....put the guage done and leave it to a professional, LPG is not for the semi skilled or diyers.

Chill out mate!! LPG??? ZPG I said not LPG!! I know how to check the ZPG - it reduces the gas pressure to 0 pressure (o mbar) hence the name. Just wondered what you'd get if you had no gas on and the solenoid opened!!! If you'd get just air pressure of minus on the twin scaled gauge!!!!

OP, if you're gas registered why not try it and then post your results, if you're not registered forget the whole thing.

OP, it sounds like you shouldn't be going near a ZPG. Not that i've ever heard it abbreviated like that before!
