Hi Woody, can you help please. My BCO has said my annex extension is now classed as a utility room from a porch on the plans. It is a porch but due to a small kitchen, it houses the washer and dryer, no sink and the boiler is in there. They have told me I have to change my plans and drawings, I now need an extractor fan.

Chris , Apologies for this , this is a question in relation to something that you posted over 10 years ago re an optima ferroli boiler giving hot/cold water on and off, , did you ever get to the bottom of this ?, ive got the same problem , any help would be appreciated , Thanks,

Hi, I have a vokera compact 28 combi boiler and wanting to install hive. I currently don't have a thermostat connected. How do I go about connecting the receiver to my boiler?

you have posted on the wrong part of the site, either do it on the plumbing and heating forum or send me a message under the start a conversation link, and say which compact you have, there are lots of them all different

Hi There OilHead. My mother in law lives near Knighton in Shropshire. She has a Kidd VHE model 1 oil fired boiler. (a large one). It has been serviced recently and since the service the boiler fumes can now be smelt when it is on (not on the inside of the house but outside from the flue) The flue fumes are now dirtier than they were before. Can you help please. Many thanks
