Never mind getting in the media.

Top marks to him for doing what he's done.

And not just doing it, but keeping it off.

slight exageration on the van bit though.. it was my own van and wasn't re-inforced..
It was an escort van and it failed an MOT for rust and I tried to buy a new one, but they changed the design a it and moved the bulkhead behind the driver forward a bit so the seat didn't go back enough for me to drive it proplerly..

Congrats on that achievement, I wish I had your willpower & could quit smoking. I have to say though that you don't look 16 stone in the pics. or are you like me , big boned(good excuse) :D

I don't want it to sound like a feeble excuse, but that's when I started piling on the weight...

Now I need some 1-2-1 tuition from Col to get some pointers to losing it. ;) Trouble is, with my medical history, no clubs will touch me...

60 a day man 9 months ago. Marlboro reds, most with the tips taken off. I stopped on 01/09/2012 when I got poorly and was put in a coma. If you cant find a slim club, do what I do.... take it on yourself. I got better, got fit and have not smoked since. Im doing toughmudder if you care to look it up. Giving up smoking is a lame excuse for putting on weight.

Congratulations :D

A visit to the Doc's recently, I jumped on the scales  140Kg. 24Stn that was after about 4months truck driving, before which I was circa 125Kg.

I've read somewhere recently "Dr. Mercola" to cut out breakfast, I've done that for about a month now but the weight is still the same, next I've got to get out on my push bike.

That "toughmudder" looks very interesting, I've got a busy week ahead, got to vote and it's my 60th in a few days, maybe next week...

Well done Col! Magnificent achievement mate and you deserve to feel proud.
Congratulations on the job as well. :D
