Hi, I have a switch controlling a light on the stairs up to the third floor of my house. The room at the top is now going to be occupied, so ideally I should convert the existing switch to a two way switch and put another at the top of the stairs, however I wondered if there was some way without running additional cables.
My initial thoughts were to use some sort of wireless or infrared switch with a remote, but there seem to be 2 drawbacks to all the ones I have seen.
1) The remote won't be fixed to anything - so my son will lose it within a day
2) All the switches seem to also have a dimmer capability which presumably means they dont work with low energy bulbs.

Can anyone think of a wireless solution? thanks
